Web3 Domains For Baseball Fans

If you like the topic of web3 (e.g. DeFi, NFT, tokens, blockchain) then you now can get your own web3 domain name with the .probaseball extension. The benefits of these web3 domains, at this time, include:

  • No annual domain renewal. Once you buy it then it stays in your wallet
  • You can own your own decentralized web3 website
  • You can use the domain name as your digital identity on web3 dApps
  • Send and receive crypto payments using your domain name instead of having to hope that the long, alpha-numeric crypto address gets copied/pasted correctly
  • Web conferencing and web3 email (dmail) with this new domain
  • Several other upcoming benefits

The 2021 Houston Apollos were owned & operated by the Pecos League, and the team served as the 12th team (road team/travel team) in the American Association for its 2021 season.  Archived games can be seen on the AA’s subscription streaming video service at AAbaseball.tv

Here is a short video news clip about the 2021 Apollos team from KHOU in Houston, TX:

The Pecos League decided to create the first-ever traditional baseball card “team set” sold in NFT fashion for any professional minor league baseball circuit.  This includes independent as well as affiliated minor league teams.  Other “minor league” (independent and affiliated) NFTs existed before this card set; but this is the first “team set” as most baseball card collectors are accustomed to purchasing at minor league stadiums across the country.
