In 1951, Eddie Gaedel was the first midget to bat in a Major League baseball game for the St. Louis Browns as part of a promotion by Bill Veeck.

Q:  Who was the first little person to have an at-bat in a professional baseball game in the 21st Century?

A:  Chris Dube, better known as “Little Kato” had an at-bat in 2008 for the Continental Baseball League’s Corpus Christi Beach Dawgs.  Little Kato was last seen on the national level during a 2010 TV series called “Half Pint Brawlers”.
